Title: Beyond the Line
Chapter Title: Trust
Rating: T
Word Count: 6,000
Summary: Adama and Gaeta deal with the aftermath of their decisions. An AU in which Felix's mutiny is stopped in its early stages, but trouble just keeps coming.
Author's Note: What can I say, prophetkristy brought out the pom poms. I'm determined to finish this fic (which hasn't been updated since July) and it just might be doable. All my love to lls_mutant, safenthecity, and falafel_musings, my lovely betas.

It's snowing up a storm in sunny Maryland, so now is the perfect time to post my much-delayed study abroad picspam. Two weeks ago today (wow, time moves fast in the frozen part of the world) I got back from two weeks on San Salvador and Andros in the Bahamas.  Graphics-intensive, jealousy-inducing pics after the cut.

I'm still not sure how I feel about the Dollhouse finale. Joss took my favorite character and revealed him to be something . . . very different. And, while part of me is outraged, another part is . . . strangely fascinated. Those who've followed my fic (involving Jarod and Sydney, Adama and Gaeta, Wallace and Bodie, the list goes on) might have noticed that I have an odd fascination with characters who betray and/or kill each other. In that spirit, my first (and possibly only) Dollhouse fic is dedicated to Boyd Langton.

Rating: mild T for mention of death, disturbing themes
Word Count: 500
Characters/Pairings: Echo, Paul, mention of Boyd. Gen unless you squint.
Summary: Set just after the events of "The Hollow Men." Echo can't sleep.

After two weeks of eighty degree weather, sunshine, and palm trees, I'm back from the Bahamas. If anyone is interested details (and hopefully a picspam) will be coming soon. Right now, though, I need to get to class since we got back literally the day before the start of spring term. Thanks to everyone who sent well wishes.

I'll be incommunicado (well, more so than usual) for the next two weeks. Bright and absurdly early tomorrow morning I'll be catching a plane for the Bahamas to spend a week in San Salvador and a week in Andros studying reefs and fish and other sciencey things. Provided I don't step on a stingray and die, I should be back on the . . . (checks calendar) . . . 23rd, hopefully with a renewed work ethic. I made it my New Year's resolution to finally finish those WIP's, so maybe I'll have something to share. (crosses fingers)
