[sticky post] Fan Fiction Archived

Welcome to my journal! Here's my lovely collection of fic, spanning six fandoms (and counting). I write mostly gen fics, with a few pairings thrown in here and there--mostly on request. All stories are gen and rated no higher than T unless otherwise noted. Hope you enjoy!

Icon Sticky

I've decided to make a post for all my icon-making endeavors.  Feel free to take and use (with credit) if you want, but this is mostly for my own reference.  Most of these were made for icontests; a few were made just for fun or for my own use.

Chicken Soup, STAT

Well, today was supposed to be my first day back on clinical rotations after a lovely three-and-a-half week break. It ended up being my first day of being sent home early lest I spread the evil germs like a dirty bomb. I somehow managed to get a runny nose, sinus congestion, and nausea. Who the hell gets those together? And, thanks to my whirlwind tour of job interviews over the past week or so, there's really know telling whose specific strain of Bad Bad Bug I ended up with. Was it the stomach flu from Rochester? The pneumonia from Syracuse? What about the death snots from Delaware or, my favorite, the classic Camden influenza?

I guess we'll never know.

On the bright side, I've figured out what's in those nasty medicinal teas that Aragorn-writers are always shoving down his throat. It is ginger. Doesn't matter how much honey you add, there's not enough honey in the world. Blergh.

These are the things you learn when you're too sick to go to the pharmacy (but never too sick to Internet it).

Something Old/Something New meme from cairistiona7

Gakked this from Cairi and Suzll. I'm using all LotR fics, since that's the muse I'm currently trying to bring back to life.

LotR fic: "Sing of Goronthil's Mighty Feathers" for Cairistiona

Title: Sing of Goronthil’s Mighty Feathers
Rating: K+ for drunken revelry
Word Count: 2,100
Summary: Early on during his time in Rohan, Aragorn wakes up after a very memorable night that he can’t quite remember. Even future kings aren’t immune to the follies of youth.
Author’s Note: Written for cairistiona7 for her birthday. She requested Aragorn interacting with children and h/c from unusual caregivers. This sort-of does both, though it may not have been what she had in mind. ;-) It is, however, less cracky than the title suggests.
